What is tear trough filler?
Tear trough filler is a safe, quick and non-surgical cosmetic treatment recommended for those experiencing under-eye hollows, ‘eye bags’ and ‘dark circles’. The deep crease below your lower eyelid and above your upper cheek, known as the tear trough, often casts a shadow that can make you appear older, tired and unhealthy.
Some individuals inherit a dark or hollow tear trough, but for most it becomes more pronounced with age as natural facial fat pads and cheeks lose volume, resulting in a thinner, flatter face and an unsupported tear trough area. To counteract this, tear trough filler is administered into the areas around your eyes, a far less invasive approach than surgery involving fat grafting and repositioning, offering a rejuvenated, smoother and radiant complexion.
