Recovery and aftercare

• Skip strenuous exercise, hot saunas, alcohol and very hot drinks for a day or two, as they can worsen swelling
• Sip water and stay hydrated, since the filler works with water in the tissue
• Avoid pressing, pinching or heavily massaging the lips unless your practitioner has shown you how

Mild tenderness when you eat or brush your teeth is normal for a day or so. If you ever have concerns after treatment, particularly unusual pain, blanching of the skin or spreading discolouration, contact the clinic straight away. How long results last and keeping them looking good
