If you saw me walking around Cobham about six weeks before I filmed this reel, you might have caught me sporting a rather impressive black eye. Not the result of a mishap, but of a treatment I'd had done myself. My point was a simple and honest one: I don't just give my patients the occasional bruise, I get them too. They stimulate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for making collagen and elastin, which over time improves the density and springiness of the skin. And they support microcirculation, encouraging better blood supply and oxygenation to the tissue. It helps to separate polynucleotides from dermal fillers, because people often lump them together. A filler adds volume and structure, plumping a hollow or a line. Polynucleotides don't really do that. They work on the quality of the skin itself, its thickness, texture and resilience. As I put it, they're for patients who want to improve the quality of the skin, the fullness of the skin and the thickness as well. The result is skin that looks better rather than skin that looks obviously filled.
Why Plinest Eye specifically
The eye contour is the most demanding area of the face to treat. The skin there is the thinnest on the whole body, it creases with every blink and smile, and it shows fatigue faster than anywhere else. A product formulated for the cheeks or the neck isn't automatically right for it.

A Plinest Eye appointment is quick and, for most people, very manageable. The area is cleaned and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to keep you comfortable. The product is then delivered intradermally, which means very superficially into the skin, using a fine needle or a cannula. The timeline is worth setting out clearly, because managing expectations is half the battle with regenerative treatments. In the first week to ten days, people tend to notice improved hydration and a subtle softening of fine lines. The more meaningful changes, better tone, thicker-feeling skin, reduced shadowing, come through over the following weeks as collagen production ramps up. The best point to judge the outcome is once the full course is complete and the skin has had six to twelve weeks to remodel. Downtime, bruising and aftercare
Here's where my honesty really lands. I had a full black eye for a spell after my own treatment. Aftercare is straightforward. Keep the area clean, avoid makeup for the rest of the day, and steer clear of strenuous exercise, saunas and hot yoga for a day or two. Protect the skin from direct sun and use SPF, since UV exposure works against the very skin quality you're trying to build. Try not to rub or massage the area while it settles.

Does it hurt?

Will I definitely bruise like you did?
