We're Hiring: Experienced Skin Therapist Wanted at Wellface

YT Dr Yasmin Tayeb Published 16 January 2026 · 8 min read

We're growing, and I'm looking for the right person to grow with us. Wellface is hiring an experienced skin therapist to join our team, and if you love skin, understand how it behaves at every layer and get a genuine buzz from seeing a treatment plan pay off, I'd like to hear from you.

This is a hands-on clinical role in a doctor-led aesthetics clinic. You'll be working alongside our doctors and therapists, delivering results-driven treatments to patients who expect a high standard and come back because they get one. The position starts part-time, with a clear route to full-time hours as you settle in and build your column.

Below you'll find the detail: the treatments you'll be delivering, the experience I'm after, what it's actually like to work here, and exactly how to send us your CV. If you're reading this and thinking of yourself, your former colleague, your cousin or your neighbour who happens to be brilliant with a device in their hand, please do pass it on.

The role at a glance

I'm recruiting an experienced skin therapist with strong knowledge of the layers of the skin and confident, proven hands across three core areas: microneedling, radiofrequency microneedling and laser treatments. These are the treatments that sit at the heart of our skin work, and I need someone who can pick them up and run rather than someone I'm training from scratch.

The position is part-time to begin with, with the opportunity to progress to full-time as demand and your diary grow. That structure suits a lot of people. It gives you room to find your feet, get to know the team and the way we work, and then step up when the time is right. It also means I can build the role around a therapist who's genuinely a good fit rather than rushing anyone into a full week before they're ready.

You'd be based within our clinics and working closely with our doctors, including me as founder and the wider clinical team. That proximity matters. Skin therapy at Wellface isn't a siloed service. Treatment plans are joined up, so a patient having microneedling might also be under a doctor for anti-wrinkle injections, filler or an injectable skin booster, and everyone works from the same page.

The treatments you'll be delivering

Strong technical skills are non-negotiable for this role, so it's worth being clear about the kind of work involved. If these treatments are already in your repertoire, you'll feel right at home.

Microneedling

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, prompting the body's natural repair response and stimulating fresh collagen and elastin. Done well, it improves texture, softens fine lines, refines pores and helps with scarring and tone. It sounds simple on paper, but the difference between an average result and an excellent one comes down to technique, depth control, product knowledge and a proper understanding of what's happening at each layer of the skin. I want someone who treats it as a clinical procedure, not a facial add-on.

Radiofrequency microneedling

Radiofrequency microneedling takes the same principle further by delivering RF energy through the needles into the deeper layers of the skin. That heat drives a stronger remodelling and tightening response, which is why it's such a powerful option for laxity, texture and definition along the jawline. Experience here is a real asset. You'll understand energy settings, depth selection, patient suitability and how to read skin during a treatment, and you'll be comfortable managing expectations before and after.

Laser treatments

Laser is the third pillar of this role. Different platforms do different jobs: some target pigmentation and redness and give skin an overall lift in clarity, others resurface to tackle texture, scarring and sun damage more deeply. A confident laser therapist knows how to match the right device and settings to the right skin and concern, how to keep treatments safe and comfortable, and how to guide patients through the healing that follows. If you've worked across a range of laser platforms, tell me which ones and what you've used them for.

What I'm looking for

The headline is experience. I need someone who has already logged real hours in microneedling, RF microneedling and laser, who can walk in and treat with confidence, and who understands skin properly rather than following a protocol by rote. Knowledge of the layers of the skin, how they respond to different modalities and how they heal is exactly the kind of foundation I mean.

Beyond the technical side, I'm looking for a certain sort of person. Someone genuinely passionate about skin and about results, who takes pride in the outcome and cares how a patient feels walking out of the room. Someone warm, professional and reassuring, because a lot of my patients are having treatments that feel like a big deal to them. Someone reliable and tidy in their clinical practice, who documents properly and holds high standards without being told to.

I also value people who want to keep learning. Aesthetics moves quickly, devices and techniques evolve, and the therapists who thrive here are the ones who stay curious. If you're the sort who reads up, asks questions and wants to get better every year, you'll fit the culture.

Why work at Wellface

Wellface is a doctor-led clinic, and that shapes everything about how it feels to work here. Decisions are clinical first. Treatment plans are considered, patients are properly assessed, and there's always a doctor to consult when a case is complex or a result needs another set of eyes. For a skin therapist, that's a supportive environment to practise in and a good one to grow in.

We have branches in Cobham in Surrey, in Esher and in Wimbledon, so there's variety in where and how the team works. Our patients come to us for a broad menu that runs from injectables and Profhilo through to Morpheus8, BBL Hero, MOXI, Secret Pro laser resurfacing, Hydrafacial, PRP, microneedling and medical-grade skincare. Working across that kind of range keeps the days interesting and keeps your skills sharp.

There's also a real team here. The tone I set is collaborative and calm, with high standards but genuine support behind them. You wouldn't be a lone therapist stuck in a back room. You'd be part of a group of clinicians who share knowledge, cover for one another and take pride in the clinic's reputation.

Room to grow

Starting part-time with a route to full-time isn't a hedge on my part, it's an opportunity on yours. It lets you build a column of patients who rebook because they trust you, and it lets your hours expand naturally as that happens. For a therapist who's ambitious and good at what they do, that's a straightforward path to a busy, full-time role in a premium clinic.

There's scope to develop your skills too. As you work alongside our doctors and across our device range, you'll pick up exposure to treatments and combinations you might not have delivered before. I want people who see this as somewhere to build a career, not just take a job.

Common questions about the role

Is this a full-time or part-time position?

It starts as a part-time role, with the opportunity to progress to full-time as the diary and demand build. That structure gives both sides time to make sure it's the right fit before scaling up your hours.

What experience do I need?

I'm looking for an experienced therapist rather than a trainee. You should be confident and proven in microneedling, radiofrequency microneedling and laser treatments, with a solid working knowledge of the layers of the skin and how they respond to treatment. Please make your relevant experience clear in your CV, including the devices and platforms you've worked with.

Which locations would I be working at?

Wellface has branches in Cobham, Esher and Wimbledon. I'll talk through location and scheduling with candidates during the process.

Can I refer someone rather than apply myself?

Absolutely. If you know a brilliant skin therapist, a former colleague, a friend or a family member who fits the brief, please point them my way. Good people tend to know good people.

How will I hear back?

Send your CV or drop us a message and a member of the team will be in touch to talk next steps. I read every application from an experienced therapist properly.

Ready to join the team?

If you're passionate about skin, driven by results and want to work in a premium, doctor-led clinic, I'd love to hear from you. Send your CV to [email protected] or send us a message on Instagram, and I'll be in touch.

And if you're a patient rather than a therapist and you've read this far, the same clinic and the same standards are here for you too. You can book a consultation with me at Wellface in Cobham, Esher or Wimbledon to talk through your skin, your concerns and the treatments that would suit you best. Either way, I'm glad you're here.
