Welcome to Wellface Wimbledon: A Tour of Our Newest Clinic

WF The Wellface Team Published 10 July 2026 · 9 min read

Every so often you have to do the full clinic walkthrough, MTV Cribs style. That was the idea behind our latest reel, and behind this post too. The doors at Wellface Wimbledon are open, the treatment rooms are ready, and the team is in place. So rather than a quick clip, here is the proper tour: what you will find inside, who you will meet, and what you can actually book once you walk through the door.

Wimbledon now joins our clinics in Cobham and Esher, which means the same doctor-led approach that people travel across Surrey for is available a little closer to south west London. Same standards, same considered treatment planning, same insistence on doing things properly. A new postcode, nothing else watered down.

If you have never been to a Wellface clinic before, this is a good place to start. Below we walk through the space, the team and the treatments, and by the end you should have a clear sense of whether it is the right fit for what you have in mind.

A new home in Wimbledon

Opening a clinic is not just about finding a nice room and hanging a sign. It is about building somewhere people feel comfortable talking honestly about their skin, their concerns and, quite often, the things they have tried before that did not work. Wimbledon was chosen because so many of our patients were already making the journey, and because the area has exactly the kind of people we love treating: busy, discerning, and not interested in being sold something they do not need.

The clinic has been set up so that everything happens under one roof. Consultations, treatments, follow-ups and skincare all sit in the same calm space. You are not passed around or handed off. The room you sit in for your consultation is the same environment you will come back to for your treatment, which makes the whole thing feel less clinical and more like being looked after by someone who knows you.

What we call the Wellface effect is not really about any single machine or injectable. It is the result of a team that plans treatments carefully, is honest about what will and will not help, and treats faces as a whole rather than chasing one line or one wrinkle in isolation. That philosophy travels with us to Wimbledon completely intact.

The team behind the clinic

Wellface was founded by Dr Yasmin Tayeb, and the ethos she built the clinic on runs through everything the wider team does. Our doctors, including Dr Yosra Albeyatti, Dr Amina Albeyatti, Dr Bianca Coveva, Dr Olivia McCormack and Dr Hannah Sunley, share a fairly simple belief: aesthetic medicine works best when it is subtle, evidence-based and led by people with real medical training.

That matters more than it might sound. A doctor-led clinic means the person assessing your face understands the anatomy underneath it, can spot when a treatment is not appropriate, and can manage the rare occasions when something does not go to plan. It also means the answer to your question is sometimes "you do not need that", which is exactly the kind of honesty that keeps people coming back.

Dr Yasmin Tayeb often reminds patients that the goal is to look like a well-rested version of themselves, not like they have had work done. The Wimbledon team has been chosen and trained with that same restraint in mind. Experienced hands, conservative planning, and results that let you keep your expressions.

What you can book at Wellface Wimbledon

The Wimbledon clinic offers the full range of treatments our other branches are known for. That spans skin resurfacing and tightening, laser, injectables and the kind of hydrating skin boosters that have become so popular over the last few years. Here is a closer look at the treatments people ask about most.

Morpheus8 for skin tightening

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. Fine needles deliver controlled heat into the deeper layers of the skin, which prompts the body to produce fresh collagen and gradually firm and tighten the treated area over the following weeks and months. It is popular for the lower face and jawline, the neck, and areas where skin has started to lose its snap.

Because it works below the surface, results build slowly and look natural. Most people have a short course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, with the improvement continuing to develop long after the last appointment. There is usually some redness and a slightly grid-like texture for a day or two afterwards, which settles quickly.

BBL Hero and laser treatments

BBL Hero is a broadband light treatment used to even out skin tone, soften the look of sun damage and pigmentation, and calm the persistent redness that comes with conditions like rosacea. It works by delivering pulses of light that target the pigment and blood vessels responsible for an uneven complexion, leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

Sessions are quick, and many people describe the sensation as a warm flick against the skin. Pigment often looks a little darker for a few days before flaking away to reveal clearer skin underneath. It pairs beautifully with other treatments as part of a longer plan, and it is one of the reasons people describe their skin as looking brighter and more uniform rather than obviously treated.

Injectables done with restraint

Injectables cover anti-wrinkle treatments such as Botox, as well as dermal fillers used to restore volume, support structure and refine proportions. Used well, they soften expression lines and replace the subtle volume that faces lose with age. Used badly, they are obvious, and that is exactly what our team works to avoid.

The assessment is where the real skill lies. Before any needle comes out, the doctor looks at how your face moves, where the light falls, and what is actually driving the concern you have come in with. Sometimes that means treating a completely different area to the one you expected. Anti-wrinkle results appear over a couple of weeks, while filler is visible immediately with a little swelling that settles within days.

Skin boosters and injectable hydration

Skin boosters are one of the most requested treatments at the moment, and for good reason. Profhilo, polynucleotides and other injectable hydrators work differently from filler. Rather than adding volume, they deliver hydration and stimulate the skin to improve its own quality, so it looks plumper, more even and healthier from within.

Profhilo in particular spreads through the skin to boost hydration and firmness, and is often done as two sessions a month apart followed by top-ups a couple of times a year. Polynucleotides, derived from purified DNA fragments, help repair and rejuvenate the skin and are especially useful around the delicate eye area. These treatments suit people who do not want dramatic change but do want their skin to look genuinely better.

What to expect on your first visit

A first appointment at Wellface always starts with a consultation, not a treatment. You will sit down with a doctor, talk through what is bothering you and what you would like to achieve, and get an honest assessment of the options. If a treatment is not right for you, or if the timing is wrong, we will say so.

Where it is appropriate and safe, some treatments can be carried out on the same day. Others benefit from a little planning, particularly if you are combining approaches or want results ready for a specific date. Downtime varies. Something like Hydrafacial leaves you glowing and back at your desk within the hour, while a resurfacing laser or a course of Morpheus8 asks for a few days of settling time. Your doctor will always tell you what to expect before you commit to anything.

Aftercare is straightforward and we will talk you through it in person. As a general rule that means keeping the skin clean, using sun protection, and holding off on heat, heavy exercise and active skincare ingredients for a short window depending on the treatment.

Common questions about Wellface Wimbledon

Do I need to have visited Cobham or Esher first?

Not at all. Wimbledon is a full clinic in its own right with its own experienced team. New patients are welcome, and your consultation there will be exactly as thorough as at any of our branches.

Which treatment is right for me?

That is genuinely what the consultation is for. Skin tightening, pigmentation, fine lines and loss of glow all call for different approaches, and often a combination works better than any single treatment. Rather than deciding in advance, come in and let a doctor assess your face properly.

Is there much downtime?

It depends entirely on the treatment. Hydration-focused work and light facials have little to no downtime, injectables may leave minor swelling for a day or two, and resurfacing or radiofrequency treatments ask for a few days of recovery. We will always be clear about this beforehand so you can plan around work and events.

Are the treatments carried out by doctors?

Yes. Wellface is a doctor-led clinic, and that is central to how we work. Being seen by a medically trained practitioner means safer treatment, better judgement about what will actually help, and proper support if you ever need it.

How do I book?

The easiest way is to get in touch and arrange a consultation. From there, your doctor will map out a plan that suits your skin, your timeline and your budget.

Come and see it for yourself

A walkthrough video can only show you so much. The real feel of a clinic comes from sitting down with a doctor who listens, asks the right questions and tells you the truth about what your skin needs. That is what Wimbledon offers, and it is what has always defined our clinics in Cobham and Esher too.

If you have been thinking about Morpheus8, BBL Hero, injectables or skin boosters, or you simply want an expert opinion on where to start, we would love to see you. Book a consultation at Wellface in Cobham, Esher or our new Wimbledon branch, and find out what the Wellface effect feels like in person.
