Wellface Cobham Has Opened: A Doctor-Led Aesthetics Clinic Comes to Surrey
There is something special about a launch party. The room hums, the champagne flutes clink, and for one evening the people who trust you with their faces get to see behind the scenes of where the work actually happens. That was the feeling at the Wellface Cobham launch, where we welcomed patients old and new into our brand new Surrey clinic. It was a night of proper conversation and plenty of laughter, and it marked the start of something we are genuinely proud of.
Cobham joins our existing clinics in Esher and Wimbledon, which means more people across Surrey and south west London can access the kind of considered, medically-led aesthetics we have always stood for. Every treatment at Wellface is delivered or overseen by qualified doctors, and that principle does not change from one address to the next. What does change is convenience. If Cobham is closer to home or work for you, there is now a beautiful, purpose-built space on your doorstep.
So if you missed the party, consider this your proper introduction. Below is a tour of what the new clinic offers, from skin resurfacing to injectables to facials, and a sense of how we think about matching treatments to real faces and real lives.
A new home for doctor-led aesthetics in Cobham
The reason we opened in Cobham is simple. Demand for careful, results-focused treatment keeps growing, and people want a clinic that feels calm and clinical rather than rushed and commercial. Our new space was designed with that in mind. It is somewhere you can sit down, talk honestly about what is bothering you, and leave with a plan rather than a hard sell.
Being doctor-led matters more than it might sound. It shapes how a consultation runs, how thoroughly your medical history is taken, and how quickly any complication would be recognised and managed. Our team includes me, having founded Wellface, alongside Dr Yosra Albeyatti, Dr Amina Albeyatti, Dr Bianca Coveva, Dr Olivia McCormack and Dr Hannah Sunley. Between us we cover the full range of treatments the clinic offers, and we share a fairly conservative philosophy. The aim is to look like a well-rested version of yourself, not like you have had work done.
That approach runs through everything at Cobham. Whether you come in for a single facial or a longer-term skin plan, the starting point is always the same conversation. What do you want to change, what is realistic, and what is the safest, most natural way to get there.
Skin resurfacing and remodelling with Morpheus8
Morpheus8 was one of the treatments we were most excited to talk about on launch night, and it tends to be the one patients have the most questions about. It combines two proven ideas into a single device. Fine microneedles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, and at the same time radiofrequency energy is delivered deep into the tissue through those needles. That heat is the clever part. It prompts the deeper layers of the skin to remodel, tightening existing collagen and stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin over the following weeks and months.
Because the energy reaches beneath the surface, Morpheus8 is well suited to concerns that creams simply cannot touch. Think softening acne scarring, refining enlarged pores, improving skin texture, and adding a gentle firmness to areas that have started to lose definition along the jaw and lower face. Results build gradually, which is exactly what you want. Nothing looks sudden or artificial.
What a session and recovery look like
I numb the area thoroughly with a topical anaesthetic before starting, so most people find the treatment very manageable. Afterwards the skin usually looks flushed, a little like mild sunburn, and you may notice some small dots where the needles passed and a degree of swelling. For most patients this settles over one to three days, and light makeup can often be worn once the surface has healed. A short course spaced a few weeks apart typically gives the best outcome, and the collagen response keeps improving things quietly in the background long after the redness has faded.
Hydrafacial and the deep-clean treatments
Not everything at Wellface involves needles or downtime. Hydrafacial has become one of the most requested treatments in the clinic precisely because it delivers a visible glow with no recovery time at all. It is a medical-grade facial that works through a vortex tip, cleansing and gently exfoliating the skin, clearing out congested pores, and then flooding the surface with hydrating and antioxidant serums in the same pass.
People often book it before an event because the result is immediate. Skin looks brighter and feels smoother straight away, and there is nothing stopping you going back to work or out for dinner the same afternoon. It also plays nicely as maintenance between more intensive treatments, keeping the skin in good condition month to month.
For patients who want that extra step, Aquagold is another option we offer. It uses a set of tiny gold-plated needles, finer than a human hair, to deliver customised serums, and sometimes tiny amounts of other agents, just beneath the surface across the whole face. It is a lovely pre-occasion treatment for an all-over freshness.
Fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and injectable skin treatments
Injectables remain the backbone of most aesthetics clinics, and Cobham is fully equipped for them. The two most familiar are anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, and they do quite different jobs.
Anti-wrinkle injections work by relaxing the specific muscles that create dynamic lines, the creases that appear when you frown, raise your eyebrows or smile. Softening that movement smooths the lines and, over time, can stop them etching in more deeply. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are about volume and structure. Made largely from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body produces naturally, they restore lost volume, refine contours and support areas that have flattened with age. Used carefully, the two can complement each other beautifully.
My colleagues and I are deliberately restrained with both. The most common feedback we hear after treatment is that friends say the patient looks well, not that they look different. That is the standard we work to.
Beyond the classics: bio-remodelling and skin boosters
The injectable menu at Wellface goes further than fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment that spreads through the skin to hydrate it from within and stimulate collagen and elastin, improving overall quality and that slightly crepey look without adding volume. Polynucleotides, derived from purified DNA fragments, work at a deeper repair level and are particularly popular for the delicate under-eye area. Skin boosters deliver concentrated hyaluronic acid to improve hydration and glow. For unwanted small pockets of fat under the chin, Aqualyx offers a non-surgical dissolving option. And PRP, which uses growth factors from a small sample of your own blood, is another regenerative choice for skin quality and hair.
Lasers, peels and the wider skin menu
Cobham also brings a strong line-up of energy-based and resurfacing treatments under one roof. BBL Hero is a broadband light treatment that targets pigmentation, redness and the visible signs of sun damage, evening out tone across the face. MOXI is a gentler laser designed to brighten and refresh with very little downtime, which makes it a good entry point for anyone new to lasers. At the more intensive end, CO2 laser resurfacing, delivered through the Secret Pro platform, tackles deeper texture concerns, scarring and more advanced ageing when a bigger result is the goal.
Alongside these sit our microneedling, skin peels and medical-grade skincare. Peels use tailored acid formulations to lift dull surface cells and improve tone and clarity, while medical skincare is the daily foundation that protects and prolongs everything done in clinic. Part of any good consultation is working out which of these belong together, because the best outcomes almost always come from a combination rather than a single treatment on its own.
Common questions about the new Cobham clinic
Where exactly is Wellface located?
Wellface now has three clinics: Cobham and Esher in Surrey, and Wimbledon in south west London. All three are doctor-led and offer the same core menu of treatments, so you can choose whichever location is most convenient for you.
Do I need to know what treatment I want before I book?
Not at all. Many patients arrive knowing only that something is bothering them, and that is exactly what a consultation is for. I will examine your skin, listen to your concerns and explain the realistic options, including doing nothing if that is the honest answer. You are never under pressure to proceed on the day.
Is there much downtime with these treatments?
It varies enormously by treatment. A Hydrafacial has essentially no downtime, and you can head straight back to your day. Morpheus8 and more intensive lasers involve a few days of redness and swelling. I always talk you through the recovery for your specific plan beforehand, so you can time treatments around work and social commitments.
Are the treatments suitable for all skin tones?
Many are, but the right choice depends on your individual skin. Certain lasers and light treatments need extra care on deeper skin tones, which is one of the reasons a proper medical assessment matters so much. I will recommend the options best suited to your skin type and history.
Come and see the new clinic for yourself
The launch party may be over, but the doors are very much open. If you have been curious about Morpheus8, wanted to book a Hydrafacial before an event, or simply fancied an honest conversation about your skin with a doctor who will not push you into anything, now is a good time to visit. Our new Cobham clinic sits alongside Esher and Wimbledon, so there is a Wellface within easy reach wherever you are in the area.
