How AQUALYX works
AQUALYX® is a water-based solution of deoxycholic acid, injected directly into the fat pocket. It breaks down the walls of the fat cells, releasing their contents to be processed and cleared naturally by the body over the following weeks. Once cleared, those fat cells are gone for good.
Expect swelling and tenderness in the treated area for a few days – a sign the treatment is working. Most areas need 2 to 4 sessions, spaced about 4 weeks apart, with your plan agreed at consultation with one of our doctors.
