What is bruxism?
Many individuals suffer from bruxism, a common condition characterised by excessive grinding of the jaw muscles, leading to soreness, pain during eating, headaches and a noticeable increase in jaw muscle size. This can alter facial aesthetics and cause persistent discomfort. Both men and women suffer from bruxism, it is a very common condition where the grinding muscles in the mouth are over-worked and become sore.

How the treatment works
A small dose of muscle-relaxing injections, using botulinum toxin, a prescription-only medication sourced exclusively from UK pharmacies, is administered into the overworked grinding muscles. By gently reducing the muscles’ activity, the injections relieve the grinding force, easing soreness, protecting the teeth and, over time, softening the appearance of an enlarged jaw muscle.
The procedure involves just 2-3 small injections and takes 5 to 15 minutes. Effects appear within 4 to 10 days, and most patients notice real relief within a week, with results maintained through regular treatment every three months or as advised by your doctor.
