Why Dr Olivia introduced it
Dr Olivia brought SKINVIVE to Wellface because so many of the concerns she sees in clinic sit within the skin rather than on it. Skin that looks dull, feels dry or has taken on a slightly crepey texture is usually asking for hydration at a deeper level than a cream is designed to work. As she explains to her patients, SKINVIVE switches on a protein in the skin called aquaporin-3, which helps the skin hold on to moisture for longer. The aim is never a new face. It is a smoother, more radiant version of the one you already have.
Microdroplets, not volume
SKINVIVE is a hyaluronic acid injectable, but it is not a filler and it is not placed like one. Your doctor sets tiny microdroplets of gel within the skin itself, usually across the cheeks, in a fine and even pattern. The gel is only lightly cross-linked, which allows it to integrate with the surrounding tissue rather than sit as a defined deposit. That is why nothing about your contours changes. What improves is the skin: its hydration, its smoothness and its radiance, the qualities other people notice without quite being able to name.
