Lip filler is made from naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, and we use the world-renowned Juvéderm range. But the material matters less than the plan. Your doctor assesses your facial structure and features first, then recommends the style and amount of filler to suit; collaboration is the point. You will see what is proposed and why before anything is placed, and if your instinct says smaller, your doctor will almost certainly agree. Before and after photographs are taken as standard, so your result is judged against your own lips rather than anyone else’s.

What lip filler can address

Comfort taken seriously

Lips are sensitive, so we treat them that way. Numbing cream goes on ten minutes before treatment, and Juvéderm fillers contain lidocaine, which keeps the placement itself comfortable. That placement takes about 15 minutes inside a 30 to 45 minute appointment, leaving unhurried time to plan your look, ask everything you want to ask, and go through aftercare properly before you leave. Most clients tell us the anticipation was considerably worse than the appointment.

Conservative first, always

We would far rather start small and build than overfill and regret. The result is visible immediately and settles over a week or two, and two weeks after treatment you return for a complimentary review. If you would like more volume at that point, a free top-up takes you further; if you are happy, you simply carry on. Results last around six months, and the more regularly you have your treatment, the longer it begins to last. It is a slower road to the final look, and the reason our results keep their proportions.

The first week, honestly described

Expect some swelling in the first days, occasionally a small bruise, and sometimes small lumps under the skin that resolve within a week. None of it stops normal life, and by the time your review arrives the true result is showing. What you should not expect is the tell-tale look lips get when proportion loses to volume: that is precisely what the conservative Cobham approach exists to prevent.

Every lip treatment here is performed by Dr Yasmin Tayeb, Dr Olivia McCormack, Dr Bianca Coveva or Dr Ghazala Khan, the same doctor from consultation to review. And because honesty is the house style, they will tell you if filler is not the right first step, or if a different approach entirely would serve the picture in your head better. The consultation is a conversation, and no is a perfectly available answer, in both directions. That, we think, is what a village practice owes its neighbours.
