So what's the difference between lip flips and lip fillers? Lip fillers are perfect at increasing contour, contouring the lips and also increasing volume for those patients who have thin lips, asymmetrical lips or they don't even have any shape in their lips and we really want to give a gorgeous cupid's bow. Lip fillers are going to last you approximately a year or two years and I'm not expecting to see anyone within six months at all for an extra dose of lip fillers.

For lip fillers we use Juvederm product and it's absolutely gorgeous and really long-lasting. For lip flip it's an anti-wrinkle injection or a muscle relaxant injection that goes at the top of the lips to relax the muscle and flip the pink part of the lip upwards. Now this is perfect for those patients who already have contour and most importantly already have volume.

So if you've already got volume and you don't need it but you just want to show a little bit more pink then a lip flip is perfect for you. It takes three months and then it wears off as with all and muscle relaxant treatment and then you need to come back for another dose. It's a very thin quick simple treatment with no swelling and pretty much no downtime.
