Smile Lines and the Jennifer Aniston Myth: Why Treating the Line Is the Wrong Fix
Everyone loves to point at a celebrity's smile lines and call it ageing gone wrong. Dr Yasmin Tayeb explains why that thinking is back to front, what actually causes smile lines, and why the fix is almost never filling the line itself.

Smile lines are normal. So people bashing at Jennifer Aniston and this person and that person on Instagram is a complete no-no. First of all, the woman looks absolutely gorgeous.
Second of all, she looks age appropriate. Third of all, she's aging beautifully and gracefully. So it's the patients who end up having their smile lines overfilled, who look really, really bad, terrible, and actually end up looking like aliens.
Smile lines are a normal feature of the face, and we're here to make sure that the whole face globally looks amazing, lifted, aging, pro-aging, and looks beautiful and natural than someone who looks overfilled and their smile lines have disappeared but the rest of the face doesn't look great.
