What Profhilo actually does

Profhilo is a high concentration of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid placed just beneath the skin through small, superficial injections. Rather than holding its shape the way a filler does, it spreads evenly and goes to work in two directions at once: as an internal moisturiser that hydrates from within, and as a signal that prompts your skin to build fresh collagen and elastin. It changes nothing about your features. What changes is skin quality: tone, texture, firmness and glow.

A timetable you can plan around

Profhilo runs on a fixed, predictable schedule, which suits people who live by their calendar. Session one takes place four weeks before session two. The collagen and elastin response develops over roughly four weeks, so your complimentary review is timed for exactly the point the result is showing, with before-and-after photographs to measure it against. From there the effect lasts up to a year, and many clients book a top-up every six to nine months, planned in advance like anything else that matters.

The appointment, minute by minute

Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the whole visit. Numbing cream is applied first, then the injections themselves take around fifteen minutes. Afterwards, small raised bumps sit at the injection points while the product spreads; they settle within a day, which is worth knowing when you plan your diary. The occasional small bruise, most often near the corner of the eyes where skin is thin, fades within a week or two. There is no bandage, no peeling and nothing to explain in the Monday meeting.

Doctors, photographs and honest reviews

Every Profhilo treatment in Wimbledon is performed by a doctor: Dr Yasmin Tayeb, Dr Yosra Albeyatti or Dr Hannah Sunley. Photographs are taken before treatment, and your review compares your skin against them rather than against memory or flattery. If the result can be improved, your doctor says so and plans for it.
