Hi guys, so Aquilex treatment. What is it? Who is it for?
And what's the downtime? So Aquilex is fat dissolving injections and it is great for the superficial areas of fat. For those patients who are struggling with diet and exercising and it's just an area of stubborn fat that just will not shift.
It is great for those patients who are just trying to aim to lose one or two dress sizes. It is not the same as liposuction. So make sure you do come in for a consultations for us to make sure that we can go through actually is this treatment appropriate for you or are there other treatments that are going to work better.
Aquilex is usually quite a quick treatment. You'll see the results after approximately four to six weeks but there can be some pain, swelling, bruising like with any injectable treatment. So definitely coming in in advance is really important to make sure that we can have you done and dusted and looking absolutely gorgeous for your special occasion.
It's not a treatment that you can do last minute with a party coming up in two weeks time. So timing as usual is always key. All of our doctors do it.
