From Dentistry to Aesthetics: Dr Yasmin Tayeb on How Her Career Began

Yasmin, tell me a little bit about your journey. How did you get into all of this? So my background is I'm a dentist and I absolutely love dentistry and I've always loved my patients and it's been the biggest blessing ever.

However, as I was having my children, I went into aesthetics because it's a lovely field and it just flows beautifully from dentistry. We already spend so much time looking at the face, the angles and all the different percentages and so on. So that was a very natural journey to go from dentistry into aesthetics and as I was doing both jobs between dentistry and aesthetics, aesthetics just kept booming and booming and massively increasing and the feedback that I was getting from the patients was amazing and as much as I love dentistry, unfortunately I didn't have the same amount of time to do it.

And so aesthetics has taken over my life, I love my patients, I love the job that I do, it offers me a huge amount of flexibility with my children and it's just been wonderful. I love the technology and I love that we can make small tweaks and small levels of improvement which really impact a patient's self-esteem. And to me, every single patient who walks in the door is a patient.

They are not a client, they are looked after with the same ethos of their health and their well-being always comes first. So
