Lip Fillers, Lip Flips and Microneedling: Three Ways to Improve Your Lips
Lips are more than volume alone. Dr Yasmin Tayeb of Wellface walks through three treatments that improve them: hyaluronic acid lip fillers for shape and contour, the lip flip for a subtle lift, and microneedling for the skin quality around the mouth. Here is how each works, who it suits, what a session involves and how they combine for a natural result.

Hi guys, so what are the three treatments that can really improve the lips? The first one is lip filler which can massively improve the contour of the lips, the volume of the lips and the shape of the lips. So for those patients who have lots of fine lines on the top of their lips, who have lost their contour with age, maybe they never had a contour to start with or for those patients who also have asymmetries, we can really improve on all of that with lip filler.
The second treatment is the lip flip. So for those patients who have amazing contour, amazing shape in their lips, they have young lips but they just need a little bit more fullness or a little bit more pink showing on the top, then a little bit of lip flip treatment with muscle relaxant treatment can really be amazing for that. Very simple, very easy and very natural looking as well.
And the third treatment is for those patients who always want to maintain the quality of the lips and the skin over the top and maintain the support and the collagen stimulation. And that would always be microneedling either on its own or microneedling radiofrequency combined together. And that massively improves the collagen stimulation, the elastin stimulation of the skin.
