Dr Yasmin Tayeb's Three Top Tips for Treating Pigmentation and Sun Damage
Pigmentation is one of the most common skin concerns we treat, and it responds beautifully to the right prescription plan. Dr Yasmin Tayeb explains her three-part approach: a prescription hydroquinone cream to calm overactive pigment cells, a retinol or tretinoin to make it work harder, and daily SPF to stop the pigmentation coming back.

Guys, three top tips for amazing skin for those patients who are suffering from pigmentation. So the first thing you need to do is we need to get you on a prescription hydroquinone cream. Now this cream is amazing at suppressing the pigmentation and reducing the melanocytes from becoming too overstimulated and excited.
And this will massively suppress the amount of pigmentation being made in the skin. But number two, what was going to really kickstart this and make it so much more potent is by adding a retinol or a tretinoin. Now retinol you can get 1% or tretinoin which is prescription only and we usually go up the ladder and your doctor will explain how to use it to get the most out of it.
But the combination of these two creams will massively improve the quality of the skin and give it a gorgeous glow or suppress the pigmentation massively so that's all the same color and it all looks uniform. And obviously the third thing that you need to remember is how to protect it and not allow that pigmentation to come back again. And that's always going to be with SPF sunscreen to make sure that the pigmentation is not excited again and it doesn't all come back.
So make sure it's all looking beautiful and gorgeous all year round. So make sure it's all looking beautiful and gorgeous. And that's all the same color.
And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color.
And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color.
And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color. And that's all the same color.
