Three Anti-Wrinkle Myths Our Doctors Hear Every Week
Anti-wrinkle injections attract more myths than almost any treatment we offer. Our Wellface doctors unpick the three they hear most, from whether it's too early to start, to the fear of looking frozen, to the idea that skincare alone can do the job, and explain what actually gives natural, lasting results.

Guys, three anti-aging myths that we're going to debunk right here. So number one, when is it too early to start? It's never too early to start.
It may be that you're not going ahead with injectable treatment straight away, but it's never too early to start with anti-aging, good quality, medical grade skincare or good quality medical grade facials just to keep the skin really young, really healthy and really supple with the right ingredients. Number two, it looks unnatural or you can see the treatment. No, absolutely not.
If you're seeing the correct doctor who can really analyze your face appropriately, analyze your facial expressions as well and make sure that the treatment is completely unidentifiable, looks really seamless, looks really perfect with the way you move your lifestyle, then you shouldn't, it shouldn't be noticeable at all. It should look absolutely natural and should be in keeping with the rest of you. And number three, can skincare look after all of your anti-aging needs?
Absolutely not. As much as I love medical grade skincare, it cannot get rid of all the lines and wrinkles in your face and it cannot get rid of all the crepiness. There are treatments that are needed, which may be injectable treatments or device-led treatments with regenerative medicine to really make sure that they're acting in harmony and keep the whole face and the skin looking really nice, anti-age youthful and really, really healthy.
