A Doctor's Walk-Through of Anti-Wrinkle Injections: What Actually Happens in the Chair
Anti-wrinkle injections are the world's most requested non-surgical treatment, but few people have seen what really happens in the chair. Following a Wellface clinic reel, a doctor walks through the whole process: preparing and diluting the product, mapping the muscles by watching how the face moves, keeping the dose light so expression stays natural, and reviewing at two weeks. Here is how the treatment works, who it suits, what downtime to expect and the aftercare that keeps results looking like a well-rested you.

Hello everyone, so today I'm going to run you through how I do a little bit of anti-wrinkle injection treatments on this gorgeous patient. So the first thing I need to do is dilute and prepare the concentration for the anti-wrinkle serum that's going to go into our patient's skin and face and muscle. So once I've prepared the serum, the first thing I do is mark up the locations of the muscle movement and where the strongest movements are and where we're going to be placing our anti-wrinkle injections in order to make sure that we get the most out of the treatment and the most beautiful diffuse balance look for the patient.
Now for this gorgeous lady, she doesn't like her anti-wrinkle injection treatment done too strong, she doesn't like her face to be frozen, she likes to maintain that full level of expression and movement but with reduced lines and wrinkles across her face. So we do a very nice light dose but a little bit lower down on the muscle and for the frontalis muscle especially and a little bit stronger on the glabella as well. Obviously in between all of our treatments we need to make sure we have a catch-up on everything about for kids, husbands, life, holidays and make sure everyone is well in their mental health and everything else that's going on in their life and not just about the anti-wrinkle injections and everything else that's going on.
So absolutely gorgeous and she's ready to go. I'll review her in two weeks time to make sure it's all balanced and perfect and if anything needs topping up then we'll do it there in two weeks time. So
