The Shift from Filler to Rejuvenation: How Aesthetics Has Changed for the Better
Aesthetics has moved away from chasing every line with filler and towards skin health, collagen stimulation and looking naturally rested. The medical aesthetic industry is changing and I have to say it actually makes me really, really happy the direction that the industry is going in. So previously, patients were only interested in filling, filling, filling and overfilling their face all the time to try and get rid of every shadow and every line on their face, which obviously now, thankfully, five and 10 years later, we can see it just doesn't really work and it doesn't make people look beautiful. The thing that people are looking for now and the industry direction is more into rejuvenation, into skin health, into collagen stimulation, in making sure patients look really natural in keeping with what they used to look like and trying to maintain that as much as possible.
So if you're 30, let's try and keep you looking 30, even at 40, 50, 60. And we do. Our patients look absolutely gorgeous.
They look so healthy and so rejuvenated. So this makes me really, really happy. The industry has changed from fillers into more energy-based devices.
So microneedling radiofrequency has massively improved. Ultrasound treatments have massively improved as well, as well as the biostimulator generation of treatments. So things like harmonica, profilo, the polynucleotides, exosomes, all of these treatments are not aimed at filling the face, but they're actually aimed at making sure you stay looking healthy, young, and as always, rejuvenated.
